Dermal fillers

These involve the use of a viscoelastic material (Belotero®, Juvederm®), which is administered in varying concentrations and molecular weights depending on the areas and wrinkles to be treated, generally in the lower half of the face. The treatment has three key benefits: 1. It provides volume, thereby reducing the appearance of wrinkles. 2. It hydrates up to 1,000 times its molecular weight, thereby providing intense hydration to the skin with subsequent skin smoothing. 3. It helps the skin to regenerate by stimulating fibroblasts, the cells that produce collagen and elasticity, thereby improving the skin’s appearance and elasticity.
The treatment costs between CHF 300 and CHF 500 per vial, depending on the product and the amount used.
Superficial or medium depth peeling
Superficial or medium-depth peel
Depending on the condition of the skin. It helps to correct superficial wrinkles, reduce dark spots or uneven pigmentation, and ultimately helps to regulate sebum production. It acts as an exfoliant on the old surface layer and works deeper to stimulate the skin (neocollagen) and reduce skin pigmentation by acting on melanocytes. It is a painless treatment lasting around 10 minutes and can be repeated as needed.
Contraindications: Herpes, collagen disorders and pregnancy.
The cost of the peel ranges from CHF 50 to CHF 150 per session.
Muscle relaxants
Improvement of deep wrinkles and facial expression lines through muscle-relaxing treatments (forehead lines and crow’s feet). The substance works by preventing muscle contraction through inhibition of nerve transmission at the level of the neuromuscular junction.
The effect becomes visible after 4–5 days and typically lasts about 4 months.
Initially used in ophthalmology for the treatment of Blepharospasm and strabismus, over the last 20 years this therapy has been increasingly used in aesthetic medicine.
